Issue
Microsoft Outlook 2016 Send/Receive throws following error:
Task 'Internet Calendar Subscriptions' reported error (0x80004005) : The operation failed.'
Resolution
The issue was resolved by clearing Internet Calendar subscription settings:
- Close Outlook
- Start > Run
- outlook /cleansharing
NOTE: running above command will remove all RSS, Internet Calendar, and SharePoint subscriptions from Outlook (it does not delete previously downloaded data, only removes subscriptions).
