Issue
HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus printer displays following error on its LCD screen and refused to perform any functions.
Printer Failure
There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on. If problem persists, contact HP.
Resolution
The issue was cased by a refilled ink cartridge. It was completely empty but chip on the cartridge was telling the printer that there is still some ink left. Replacing the offending cartridge resolved the issue.
