Issue
One of the Sharepoint sites hosted on Office 365 suddenly became unavailable. When browsing to the site in Microsoft Edge, the following error is displayed:
Hmmm... can't reach this page
It looks like the webpage at https://company-name.sharepoint.com/sites/Sales might be having issues or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE
Resolution
The issue was caused by somebody accidentally deleting the site's home page (Home.aspx). After restoring the deleted page from SharePoint Recycle Bin, the issue was resolved. To get the Recycle Bin, you can navigate directly to site's Documents URL, i.e. https://company-name.sharepoint.com/sites/Sales/Shared%20Documents
If the Home page is not present in the Recycle Bin, you'll need to recreate it.
