Issue
Synology DS916+ NAS is backing up data to a remote Synology NAS via HyperBackup NAS-to-NAS backup task. The destination Synology NAS device failed and was replaced by a similar Synology DiskStation unit while keeping the same hard drives and data while recreating users and settings.
After the replacement the HyperBackup tasks fail with the following error:
Only the owner of this backup task is allowed to perform backup.
Resolution
The issue was resolved by changing the HyperBackup destination folder's owner to the same user that was specified in the HyperBackup task on the source NAS.
