Issue
Zooming in and out on Google Maps, Strava, Garmin and similar websites using a mouse wheel is very fast and rough in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. It works fine in the Safari browser.
Resolution
The issue was resolved by enabling Hardware Acceleration in browser settings.
In both, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge this is located in: Settings > System > Use hardware acceleration when available.
You'll need to restart the browser for changes to take effect.
