Issue
Adobe Reader DC shortcut in Windows 10 Start Menu lost correct icon.
The same issue affect Adobe Reader DC shortcut in Windows 10 Start Menu search results.
Resolution
- Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and delete Acrobat Reader DC shortcut (which also has an incorrect icon)
- On your desktop create a new shortcut pointing to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe and name it Acrobat Reader DC (which should now have a correct icon).
- Move the new shortcut to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
